“C” Steiner, “A” Steiner, Bru Jne 5
Good evening all, I will soon be listing all three of these 15″ “Frenchette” dolls here on the website on the “Dolls for Sale” page. “Frenchettes” are a series of 15″ dolls I created back in 2009. All dolls are on the same FB12S composition body and stand approximately 15″ tall. There clothes are all interchangeable with each other. The dolls may be purchased undressed or dressed. The undressed price for all “Frenchettes” is $345.00. The dressed price is $495.00. Shipping and insurance within the continental U.S. is $20.00. I do ship worldwide but international shipping will have to be figured by individual country. You may email me for a shipping quote. The “C” Steiner costume was made by Pam Willits. I made the costume on the “A” Steiner. The winter coat, dress and muff was created by Lorna Yates. Other dolls that have been presented in the “Frenchette” series since 2009 is the Bru 13, AT 11, Jullien, Circle Dot Bru, F.4G., and Schmitt & Fils, I have quite a few patterns available from Lorna’s Lovable Dolls that fit the “Frenchette” series. I will soon be setting up a page here on the website featuring all the “Frenchette” series and will have all the patterns available listed for sale also.

Good morning all! During my Open House last week, I had many requests from people for an online tour of the doll room for those too far away to attend in person. So today will start my virtual tour of the many displays within the doll display room. Most of the dolls are for sale, I only have a few dolls in there that are not. My 5 foot Lady Grace is not for sale as I will probably never get another one totally completed. I also have a few antique German dolls mixed in for display purposes only that I have purchased reasonably at doll shows. If you see a doll you are interested in or have questions about just email me at landofozdolls@mchsi.com . Some dolls are no longer available and have been sold since I took these photos.

My “Photos of the Day” for August 31st, 2014 is of a pair of British Gentlemen I made several years ago as samples for a costuming seminar we had here at Land of Oz Dolls. The “Gentleman” in red is a Jullien reproduced from a Byron mold. The costume was made by Pam Willits and the seminar was taught by Pam. The “Gentlemen” in brown is a Steiner and was made from a Doll House Mold Co. mold, I made this costume in Pam’s seminar. The fabric for both of these costumes came from a wonderful antique store just 10 miles from me called “Ideas and Designs” in Mt. Carroll, Il. When I have seminars and retreats, a trip to “Ideas and Designs” is always on the agenda. They both stand approximately 25″ tall on the FB18S composition body. I hope you enjoy seeing this pair of “British Gentlemen”! Dolly Hugs, Connie Zink

A15 Steiner Frenchette by Connie Zink Land of Oz Dolls
Many years ago, when my daughter Stacie worked for me, she had started to do a newsletter she called ‘Dolly Chit Chat’. After many years of not being produced, I have decided to revive the monthly newsletter. This is my first issue starting with December 2013. Many of the sale prices within the newsletter will be valid until January 31st, 2014. I have started some regular monthly features including both an antique reproduction and a modern doll soft-fired greenware doll of the month. Don’t forget there is one week left to sign up for the Christmas Holiday Giveaway if you haven’t already done so. January 2014, brings our 35th year in business! Every month in the newsletter, starting in January, I will have at least one special sale to commemorate our anniversary. Please make sure to check out each issue to find all the latest news and happenings at Land of Oz Dolls. I hope you enjoy the first issue of “Dolly Chit Chat” by Connie Zink
