Happy Labor Day everyone!!! This is the last official holiday weekend of the summer. I just don’t know where the summer has gone. Time has just flown by and I just haven’t been able to keep caught up with everything as much as I would have liked to. In celebration of Labor Day I am going to rerun the first three weekly specials I have posted on my new website here so the people who missed them, will have another chance to purchase. The first item I am rerunning on special is the 38mm, #733 Girl’s Dress Shoes for Bleuette. These darling vinyl, little strap shoes with buckles, come in your choice of eight colors. The 38mm size fits the wooden Bleuette body. Colors available are white, black, light pink, light blue, purple, red, yellow, light green, Cost is regularly $7.00. They are on special until September 8th only for $5.00 a pair. No limit to the amount you may purchase. I only ship by Priority Mail so shipping cost for the small flat rate box is $5.35. You may purchase as many pairs as you would like for the one $5.35 shipping cost. One pair or ten pairs is the same shipping. If my quantities in stock for immediate shipment run out then it will take about ten days for you to receive your order. If you read my two previous blog posts here on the website you will have a little bit better understanding as to why this website has came about. As a celebration of my new website I will be starting my “Summer Doll Giveaway” Promotion! This is not the first time I have given a doll away in the past year and it won’t be the last. I have been blessed with such joy, watching the winners of the dolls learn that they have won, and also have greatly appreciated the photos submitted from the lucky new mamans. I will share the winners of the last several promotions with you soon in an upcoming post. It’s Almost Ready!!!

I would like to say hi to everyone, but right at the moment that is a little difficult because I don’t have any subscribers to say hi to. I haven’t yet announced the beginning of my new website and blog. Almost there, but not quite yet. It has been four days now since I started the creation of this website and it has been a long four days. The first night I was still up at 4:00 am working on this thing. When Dennis got up to get ready for work, I know he thought I was crazy! I went to bed for a few hours and was back up by 8:00 am and worked on it all day and evening. I find this whole set-up thing fascinating. Never had a clue I would ever be able be able to set-up my own website, but I am really enjoying it!! I can honestly say, I have done the whole thing myself up until this afternoon when one of my student’s sons came and helped me for awhile fix some of my glitches I was having. I learned a lot this afternoon, thanks Tory!!!! I have tons of photos to upload yet but one of the cool things that we installed today was my photo albums on Picasa Web Albums. Now with one click from my side bar, it will take you directly to all of my photo albums I have there. I also have the Facebook feed up and working so you can access my Land of Oz Dolls Facebook page also. My Twitter account is also there, (I have had the thing for ages but haven’t used it but I guess now is the time)! I have been working on uploading photos to the various pages and have set up a page for “Nature Photography by Connie”. No, there isn’t any dolls on that page, but many of my customers are also fans of my bird photos I post on Facebook. So I thought I would add them to this website also. Within the next day or so, I am hoping to get the announcement up for my “Summertime Doll Giveaway”. I have a Cherie Limoge “Bleuette Friend” I will be giving away in September. Rules for entry will be announced soon. Until then, have a great weekend and enjoy some dolly time or maybe even check out some of that nature that surrounds us!

Sales Policy

We do ship worldwide. Dolls may be shipped by USPS Priority Mail, USPS Express Mail or United Parcel Service, whichever the buyer prefers or is the most economical for your destination. Buyers will pay actual shipping costs and insurance, we do not charge a handling fee. Full insurance is required on all dolls shipped within the United States. Full insurance is required to countries that will allow insurance to be purchased. Illinois residents must pay 6.5% state sales tax. Please feel free to contact us prior to purchase to discuss all of your available shipping options.

Customers within the United States: We accept personal checks, postal money orders, or Paypal. Orders paid by check will be held until the check clears. Postal money orders and Paypal purchases will ship immediately. Paypal addresses must be verified, and parcels will only be shipped to the verified address on the Paypal account. You may also purchase with a credit card if you call in your order. We take Visa, Master Card, and Discover. Sorry, no American Express.

International Customers: We accept Paypal with verified accounts only. Paypal addresses must be verified, and parcels will only be shipped to the verified address on the Paypal account.  The full amount paid for the item will be declared on the customs form. Insurance is necessary when allowed.

Return Policy

If you are not happy with your purchase you may return your item if you follow these steps:

Please contact me within 48 hours of receipt to request a return.

Once I have acknowledged the return, you will then have 4 days from acknowledgement to ship the item back to me. The item must be insured and trackable.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Once the returned item is received by me, the contents will be inspected to verify completeness and condition as sent, and I will have a maximum of 4 days to refund the buyer.

Goods Damaged During Shipment

If an item is damaged during shipment, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt. Please keep all packing materials and the box, since many times, insurance coverage requires inspection by the issuing agent.

Layaways Available

Layaways are available. For dolls that you cannot purchase outright, please contact me and I’ll try to make the purchase possible for you through layaway.

We will agree to a regular monthly payment amount, to be paid each month. Payments may be made by Paypal, credit card, or check. If you choose to send a payment by Paypal, I will send you a monthly invoice on or near the date requested. If you prefer to send checks by mail, they should be received by the due date. As each payment is received, I will contact you with your remaining balance. Shipping will be added to the final payment.

Once terms are agreed on, payments should be on time and for the amount agreed. If you cannot make your scheduled payment on time, please contact me right away.

On completed layaways, the return policy stated above will apply, except that a shop credit will be issued instead of a refund. The credit will be valid for a 6 month period.

Layaway payments that are 30 days in arrears will be deemed as a failed layaway. A shop credit will be issued for the amount paid to date, and the credit will be valid for a 3 month period.
