THIS DOLL HAS BEEN SOLD!
This beautiful 24″ Bru 11 DRESSED antique reproduction porcelain doll is painted to perfection! This head was made from the Virginia LaVorgna VL 11 head mold with excellent detail. The artistry is superb on this head with wonderfully detailed French eyebrows, beautifully spaced eyelashes, perfectly shaped lips with accents, and a hint of mauve eye shadow. Her porcelain head is on a FB19S composition body. She has a vintage blonde French Human Hair wig from old store stock. She has Hand English Blue-Grey Paperweight Eyes with incredible depth. She has cotton stockings and hand made leather shoes by Pam Willits. Her incredible iridescent teal-blue dupioni silk costume with decorated straw bonnet was also created by Pam Willits. The costume and straw hat is adorned with beautiful antique laces, buttons, and flowers. She comes with cotton underwear and slip. Metal doll stand is included.

This beautiful 24″ Bru 11 DRESSED antique reproduction porcelain doll is painted to perfection! This head was made from the Virginia LaVorgna VL 11 head mold with excellent detail. I finished this beautiful Bru 13 today! She was made from the VL-7 Virginia LaVorgna head mold. She is perfection at its best.The artistry is superb with wonderfully detailed and shaded French eyebrows, beautifully spaced eyelashes, perfectly shaped lips with accents, and a hint of lavender eye shadow. Her porcelain head is on a FB-21.5S composition body from New York Doll Products. She stands 27″ tall but allow 32″ of shelf height space to accommodate the bonnet (total height in costume 32″). She has beautiful blue-grey Hand English paperweight eyes with intense depth. She has a striking blonde human hair curled wig with bangs from Global Dolls Company. The metal base doll stand is included.
Her exquisite costume was created by me from a Lorna’s Lovable Dolls pattern. Layers of beautiful mauve dupioni silk, cotton laces, and silk ribbons come together to create the perfect costume for this beautiful antique reproduction Bru 13. She has a cotton slip and pantalettes with cotton laces and a beautiful bonnet decorated with antique flowers and silk ribbons. She has cotton stockings and handmade leather shoes by Pam Willits.

Welcome back to Land of Oz Dolls! Newly Listed On My Website! I just wanted to share another beautiful Bru with you. This one is the Bru Jne 8. She is 17″ tall (doll only) about 18 1/2″ tall when you allow for the doll stand and bonnet. Bru’s are one of my favorite dolls to paint. I have never met a Bru I haven’t absolutely loved. This gorgeous, museum quality 17″ Bru 8 antique reproduction porcelain doll was lovingly created by “Millie” winning, world renowned artist, Connie Zink of Land of Oz Dolls. She was made from the VL-27 Bru Jne 8 Virginia LaVorgna head mold. This doll is perfection at its best. Her porcelain head is on a FB14S composition body from New York Doll Products. She stands 18 1/2″ tall on her wooden base doll stand. (Allow height on shelf for stand and hat, doll alone is 17″ tall). The wooden base doll stand is included. She has beautiful light blue Schoepfer paperweight eyes with intense depth, the photos just do not do the eyes justice. She has a striking vintage new (never used) old store stock Cheveux French Human Hair wig from the late 1980’s . The costume is made from a beautiful shade of purple “raw” silk. The dress with antique lace trim and a bonnet was created by Pam Willits. She also has a beige cotton slip and underwear, along with cream hand made leather shoes and hand crocheted cotton stockings.

Welcome back to Land of Oz Dolls! It seems so long ago I stopped by with any news here at the shop. I have an exciting announcement of my latest creation along with some photos to share with you. Now that summer is over and the hot weather is gone, I am back in the studio creating some new dolls. I also have started my newest session of Online Doll-making Classes. I believe this was a pattern originally shown in a Gildebrief magazine. I know I just love it. I have just added this beautiful 15″ Bru 13 “Frenchette” series doll to my Dolls For Sale page. Quantity is limited to one.
This beautiful, museum quality 15” Bru 13 “Frenchette” antique reproduction porcelain doll was lovingly created by “Millie” winning, world renowned artist, Connie Zink of Land of Oz Dolls. “Frenchettes” were created in 2009 by Connie as a series of antique reproduction dolls all using the same size body so the many costumes available are interchangeable. The artistry is superb with wonderfully detailed French eyebrows, beautifully spaced eyelashes, perfectly shaped lips with accents, and a hint of lavender eye shadow. Her porcelain head is on a B-413 composition body handmade by Connie and Dennis Zink. She has beautiful blue paperweight eyes from some old store stock that had been put away for years. She has a light blonde mohair curled wig with bangs.
This doll is being listed as a dressed doll and an undressed doll at this time. If buying the dressed doll she comes in the costume as shown. It is a beautiful slate blue silk dress with antique lace trim and a bonnet that was created by Pam Willits. She also has a white cotton slip and underwear, along with tan suede leather shoes handmade by Pam and crocheted silk stockings.
