New Undressed 18.5″ Huret on LB15S Composition Body For Sale

Welcome to Land of Oz Dolls! I have just listed this antique reproduction 18.5″ Huret for sale Undressed here on my website. The listing does not include the hat or necklace. This Huret was painted from the Byron B-3016 head mold. The molds were originally sold with shoulder plate, arms and legs none of which were authentic to the doll. I have placed the head on an LB15S composition body which is also not authentic to the original antiques. However she is beautifully painted and when costumed will be a welcome addition to someones’ antique reproduction collection. The LB15S composition body is a New York Doll Products body which is also no longer available for purchase from the company. I have included many closeup photos so you can see the beauty of this doll. Her painting is flawless and a work of art. She comes complete on her body with mohair wig, wooden base doll stand, and earrings. Just imagine all the beautiful costumes that could be created for this doll. Her cost is $475.00 plus $30.00 shipping to U.S. International Priority Mail shipping is available but the website does not figure the additional shipping cost. Welcome back to Land of Oz Dolls!

Hi everyone, sorry it has been so long since I have posted on the website. I have had major issues with my website for almost a year and a half. Awhile back I had a major Word Press update that went through and wiped out all of my shopping cart buttons and left none of them working. I am going to let you in on a little secret! I struggle with all the modern technology that keeps this website running smoothly. Back in November I changed website hosts and it fixed some of my issues but not the shopping cart buttons. However yesterday was the day, do or die! I sat down for 14 1/2 hours yesterday in front of this computer and made up my mind I would fix my issues or die trying. I watched a ton of YouTube videos until I found the one that explained my whole problem! Yes! I fixed it. I have a lot to update on the website and many things to republish I had taken down when things weren’t working correctly, but YES I am back up and running. In celebration of this website renewal I am listing my two newest Googly’s for sale on here before they are listed on eBay. They will both be offered as a dressed doll and an undressed doll.

Let’s get started with sharing my two newest Googly (JDK 221’s) with you! I currently have an Online Googly Class running and this is my first samples from the class I finished last week. The larger one, the 18″ JDK 221 undressed Googly is not currently for sale. She is visiting the seamstress (Pam Willits) and is having an adorable red and white pinafore and dress made for her. So when she is all dressed she will be here to show off for you. Dennis and I made her composition body and it is just adorable. She is the largest Googly I have made. More about her later! Now on to the other two Googly’s that are for sale.

I will start with the 12″ JDK 221 Googly on the thinner body. She is actually about Bleuette size. She has brown vintage glass eyes, a size 7-8 light brown mohair braided wig, and an adorable little school dress with underwear made by Sue Sharp of The Sharp Needle. She has red leather shoes and nylon stockings and comes with a wooden base stand.

Now let’s move on to the 12″ Chubby Googly JDK 221. This Googly is on the shorter chubbier B-258 composition body Dennis and I made. Both dolls are on beautiful composition toddler bodies made by The Bell Collection. Both wigs are from Monique Trading. The blonde Googly is wearing a “Lulu” synthetic mohair wig and the auburn wig is also a synthetic mohair and is called “Brooke”. The Googly with auburn hair could be dressed as either a boy or girl. Both dolls have vintage round glass eyes. The blonde has a pair of gray-green and the auburn has brown eyes. Doll stands are included. Cost is $350.00 EACH plus $20.00 shipping to continental U.S.

Both dolls may be shipped together for the same $20.00 shipping cost.

New Bleuettes and “Friend” For Sale!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday season and are enjoying the New Year! Wow, 2019 is here. I am looking forward to a brand new year and many dolls are in the works for this year along with new online classes and other things. I just finished putting together these two Bleuettes and a “Friend”! Tonight I am offering them as undressed dolls. I am hoping by Monday to get them dressed and then they will be available dressed or undressed. Undressed they are $325.00 each, dressed they will be $375.00.

The first one is made from the Seeley “Premiere Jumeau” mold. She has blue paperweight glass eyes, a pale blonde mohair wig and hand carved teeth.

I just love this 1907 Jumeau Bleuette “Friend”. She is made from a Jean Nordquist Collectible Doll Company Mold. She has brown glass paperweight eyes and a blonde mohair wig with hand carved teeth.

This is the Premiere Jumeau Bleuette made from the Jean Nordquist Collectible Doll Co. mold. She has brown glass paperweight eyes, a mohair wig, and hand carved teeth. This beautiful Bru 13 was made from the VL-7 Virginia LaVorgna head mold. She is perfection at its best.The artistry is superb with wonderfully detailed and shaded French eyebrows, beautifully spaced eyelashes, perfectly shaped lips with accents, and a hint of lavender eye shadow. Her porcelain head is on a FB-21.5S composition body from New York Doll Products. She stands 27″ tall but allow 30″ of shelf height space to accommodate the bonnet (total height in costume 30″). She has beautiful brown Hand English paperweight eyes with intense depth. She has a striking blonde mohair curled wig with bangs from Dollspart Supply Company. The metal base doll stand is included. Her exquisite costume was created by Lorna Yates of Lorna’s Lovable Dolls. Layers of beautiful peach dupioni silk, cotton laces, and silk ribbons come together to create the perfect costume for this beautiful antique reproduction Bru 13. She has a cotton slip and pantalettes with cotton laces and a beautiful bonnet decorated with flowers and silk ribbons. Welcome to my “Twelve Days of Christmas Sales”!! This is Day One! Every day from now through December 18, I will be offering an item or items on sale for your Christmas pleasure. The items will remain on sale through December 20th or whenever the items are sold out, whichever comes first. Some items I will have multiples of, but many will be limited to one. I will not be including shopping cart buttons for these items. I do not want to take a chance on selling them more than once. First Day of Christmas: 24″ Father Christmas Ready to Costume!

This 24″ Father Christmas made from the Kimple mold was completed in 2008. I’m sorry to say he never was finished with costume so I have decided to offer him for sale as an undressed doll. He stands 24″ tall and is complete on his cloth body with the under robe and metal doll stand. I do not have a costume pattern to go with him. He has a beautifully painted porcelain head with beard, bisque hands and painted brown boots. Father Christmas has blue painted eyes. Completed with a traditional Father Christmas robe he will make an awesome addition to anyone’s Christmas collection. He will be my one and only offering of this size. I lost this mold in the storage unit fire of 2012 and was never able to replace it. He is a one of a kind offering from me. I do however still have the large size Father Christmas mold from Kimple that I offer soft fired greenware and blank bisque.

Regular price is $450.00 however his sale price through my “Twelve Days of Christmas Sales” is $375.00. If I list him in my eBay store or Etsy he will be listed at the $450.00 original cost. Her porcelain head is on an FB16JS composition body from New York Doll Products. She stands 23″” tall on her wooden base doll stand with bonnet. (Allow height on shelf for stand and hat, doll alone is 21″ tall). The wooden base doll stand is included. She has beautiful dark blue-grey Schoepfer paperweight eyes with intense depth, the photos just do not do the eyes justice. She has a Monique Human Hair Dark Brown Helen Wig . The costume is made from a beautiful shade of blue silk covered with gorgeous antique cotton lace and netting. The dress with antique lace trim and a bonnet was created by Pam Willits. She also has a beige cotton slip and underwear, along with taupe hand made leather shoes and crocheted cotton stockings. New 17″ Bru Jne 8 For Sale!

Welcome back to Land of Oz Dolls! Newly Listed On My Website! I just wanted to share another beautiful Bru with you. This one is the Bru Jne 8. She is 17″ tall (doll only) about 18 1/2″ tall when you allow for the doll stand and bonnet. Bru’s are one of my favorite dolls to paint. I have never met a Bru I haven’t absolutely loved. This gorgeous, museum quality 17″ Bru 8 antique reproduction porcelain doll was lovingly created by “Millie” winning, world renowned artist, Connie Zink of Land of Oz Dolls. She was made from the VL-27 Bru Jne 8 Virginia LaVorgna head mold. This doll is perfection at its best. Her porcelain head is on a FB14S composition body from New York Doll Products. She stands 18 1/2″ tall on her wooden base doll stand. (Allow height on shelf for stand and hat, doll alone is 17″ tall). The wooden base doll stand is included. She has beautiful light blue Schoepfer paperweight eyes with intense depth, the photos just do not do the eyes justice. She has a striking vintage new (never used) old store stock Cheveux French Human Hair wig from the late 1980’s . The costume is made from a beautiful shade of purple “raw” silk. The dress with antique lace trim and a bonnet was created by Pam Willits. She also has a beige cotton slip and underwear, along with cream hand made leather shoes and hand crocheted cotton stockings.
